FineCell has been granted 500 000 SEK by Vinnova (Sweden’s innovation agency) to support a collaborative innovation project “In situ fibrillation of nanocellulose for cost-efficient, and high performing lightweight composites“ between FineCell, RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, Örebro University, as well as a world-leading auto parts manufacturer.
With this support, we will be able to develop cost-efficient, high-performance, and lightweight composites reinforced by our cellulose nanofibers that are made from our microfibers in the compounding process.
