What sets FineCell apart is our cutting-edge technology producing dry cellulose powder and hydrogels for applications in beauty, healthcare, and paints. Larger-scale test production is slated for 2025, with full commercial production on the horizon for 2027. We’ve already engaged with global brands seeking sustainable alternatives for their consumer products, marking a pivotal moment in our journey. “Our goal is to revolutionize industries by replacing fossil-based materials with our biobased alternatives. Two months after becoming a member of the Biorenewable Deployment Consortium (BDC), FineCell’s CEO Peter Axegård presented FineCell’s technology and products at the BDC Fall Forum on September 26 in Boston, Massachusetts. The BDC Fall Forum is an excellent event with a broad audience from over 50 companies interested in sustainable bio-based products and cutting-edge green technologies. FineCell successfully participated in the 2023 Sustainability Challenge by Evonik, Beiersdorf and Unknown Group and was honored to present as one of eleven selected from over 100 start-ups at the Sustainability Days in Hamburg on September 27 and 28. Both our CEO Peter Axegård and CTO Joachim Reimer attended the event with lots of fruitful discussions, networking, and deep insights into the need for bio-based raw materials in the skin care sector. Participating in events like this enables us to strengthen our application development together with industry partners.
